今までに、ディープ デイ用に購入したものの、普段使いにしてしまったという人や、遊び心で購入したものの、波の荒い場所でスピードを出しても「ビッグ マウンテン」スキーよりも安定感があるという人から、何度も聞いたことがあると思います。それは間違っていません。ただ、それを鵜呑みにしないでください。私たちもそういう意見を聞いており、同じ気持ちです。ただ、日常使いとしてお勧めするほどではありません。
気に入ったものは手放すべきだとよく言われますが、それが、パウダー スキーが耐えられない状況でワイルドキャットがいかに優れているかを人々に知ってもらうこと、つまり、ワイルドキャットがハードパックを悪者のように滑走し、パークでストンプ スイッチ ランディングし、パウダー サーフを一周でこなすことができることを人々に知ってもらうことを意味するのであれば、私たちがそれを鍵のかかる場所に保管しようとするのは無理でしょう。ワイルドキャットは、初日に私たちが入れたパウダー スキー ボックスから逃げ出しました。すぐには戻ってこないことは明らかです。どうせワイルドキャットなんだから、飼い猫なんかじゃないんだから、私たちが制御しようとしないからといって責めないでください。

By now we’re sure you’ve heard time and again from someone who picked up a pair for the deep days only to run them as a daily driver, or about how they bought them for their playfulness only to find more composure at speed in chop than their “big-mountain” skis—they’re not wrong. Just don’t up and take that straight to the bank. We hear ‘em and we feel the same way, we’re just not gonna go so far as to recommend them as your daily driver.
We’re told that when you love something, you should let it go, and if that means letting people discover how good the Wildcat is in conditions no powder ski should be subjected to—how it’ll rail hardpack like a baddy, stomp switch landing in the park, and surf pow all in the same lap—then who are we to try and keep it under lock and key? The Wildcat got loose from the pow ski box we put it in on day one—clearly it ain’t coming home anytime soon. It is a Wildcat for chrissakes, not a domesticated feline, so don’t blame us when we don’t try and rein it in.
Just so we’re clear though: The Wildcat is a powder ski. Nothing more, nothing less. What you do with it is your business. We won’t try to stand in your way.

Full length, knot free, vertically laminated in house. Our aspen/ash core provides a unique blend of liveliness and outstanding dampening, allowing for playful platforms that charge hard.
ABS SIDEWALL
Extruded sidewalls constructed of modified Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) provide stiffness, dampening, durability. Allow for more impact resistance and easier repairs that stay put so you can bring the abuse year after year, season after season.
CARBON FIBER HYBRID COMPOSITE STRUCTURE
A custom blend of triaxial fiberglass and carbon fiber that provides torsional rigidity along with longitudinal pop and composure at speed.
7500 SERIES CARBON BASE
Skis are tools not treasures and that means they need to take a beating which is why use carbon infused sintered UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene). Harder, faster and with better wax absorption and retention than extruded bases this is the industry leader for performance and longevity.
2.2 EURO EDGE
There are only a handful of edge manufacturers in the world. We go straight to the source for the best of the best. We use only 2.2mm Rockwell 48 hardened steel edges. Heat treated additionally in house to ensure you get nothing but the absolute most out of your skis.
Maybe you’ve learned to trust us when we say something is better—Or maybe you all were too busy grinning from ear to ear to even think about saying something.
Our money is on the latter.
Back at it the OG heavyweight is stable at speed, stays composed in crud and chop so it (and you) can handle high-velocity cut up, big drops, and meniscus-mauling runouts with more confidence. It floats like a dream but don’t get it twisted—the original playful charger has plenty of horsepower so when the pedal hits the metal it keeps on giving and begs you for more.
If you haven’t experienced just what the Fatcat can do well then it’s time to put up or shut up.
